Schedule
WikiConference North America 2025
took place in New York City on October 16–19, 2025. The theme for 2025 was "
Wiki World's Fair"
to celebrate the city's 400th anniversary (adapted from NYC's previous
Wikimania bid
).
"Wiki World's Fair"
celebrated the contributions of diverse voices and fosters cross-border partnerships. The theme sought to fuel the Wikimedia movement’s growth, encouraging participants to reimagine how free knowledge can empower individuals, encourage cross-cultural collaboration, and transform societies worldwide.
Around 300 attendees attended the 4-day event, including scholarship recipients, guest speakers and affiliates from across the region. The conference featured workshops, presentations, and networking opportunities, fostering connections among Wikimedians, educators, and cultural organizations.
