Guide to This Report
Body
This guide provides an overview of how graduate outcome data are organized and presented in this report.
This report presents the outcomes of bachelor’s degree recipients and is organized into two primary sections: Campus-Wide Graduate Outcomes and Graduate Outcomes by College. A detailed Methods section is provided at the conclusion of the report.
Additionally, due to rounding, the values presented in the tables may not sum exactly to the reported totals. Individual figures have been rounded to the nearest whole number, which may result in minor discrepancies when aggregated.
Campus-Wide Graduate Outcomes
The campus-wide section provides a comprehensive overview of outcomes for all Illinois bachelor’s degree recipients from August 2024, December 2024, and May 2025.
This section includes:
Campus-Wide Graduate Outcomes
Summaries of Graduate Outcomes by College
Campus-Wide Select Employment
Campus-Wide Select Continuing Education
Geographic Locations
Experiential Learning Participation
College-Level Graduate Outcomes
Graduate outcomes are presented by college in alphabetical order. Each college section includes:
Summary of College-Level Outcomes
Success Story
College-Level Select Employers
College-Level Select Graduate and Professional Schools
Graduate Outcomes by Major
All graduate outcomes by major are presented in
orange tables
. To provide clearer aggregation and facilitate interpretation of the results, broader groupings—such as school, department, or category—are used where appropriate. These broader groupings are presented in
blue tables
, with the corresponding majors listed beneath them in an
indented orange table format
Graduate outcomes by major are presented in alphabetical order in the full tables, regardless of the prefix (e.g., school, department, category, or major), and follow the same order in the indented tables.
Methods
The final section of this report details the methodology used to compile and analyze the data and provides the number of graduates and knowledge rates by graduate cohort, detailing cohort size and knowledge rates for each graduating class.

Body
Post-graduate outcomes were identified for 65% of the 2024-2025 graduates (knowledge rate). Of this knowledge data, 44% came directly from graduates through survey responses, while the remaining 56% were obtained from secondary sources. Detailed data counts and percentages by data sources are shown in Table 1. Knowledge rates vary considerably across colleges and majors. Throughout the report, sample sizes and knowledge rates are reported to help make appropriate use of the data. As with all data sets, careful interpretation of the results is encouraged.

Data was collected for six months past the May 2025 graduation date, closing data collection in mid-November 2025. For August and December 2024 graduates, data was accepted through mid-November 2025, but there was not a rigorous pursuit of responses after their initial six-month time periods. Graduate numbers and knowledge rates by cohort are shown in Table 2.
