Attendee Admission Requirements | NSSF SHOT Show 2027

Admission at the SHOT Show is open to businesses and government entities in the shooting, hunting and outdoor trade as well as commercial buyers and sellers of military, law enforcement and tactical products and services ONLY. No one under the age of 16 is permitted to attend (including infants).
Note: Show exhibitors and media subject to different credentialing requirements.
Acceptable Documentation Demonstrating Trade or Market Affiliation
In order to attend the SHOT Show, you must qualify on two levels.
Show management must be able to verify that your company is directly industry relevant, and
Show management must be able to verify that each person that attends works for the qualified company.
Being a NSSF member company provides discounted registration; however, company and owner/employee qualification may still be required for proper categorization and employment verification.
After reviewing the following requirements, if you feel that you cannot provide the documents required to attend the SHOT Show, we recommend not registering because there are
NO REFUNDS
once the registration is completed. Show Management does not pre-qualify before registration.
If your company manufactures an industry product, owns an industry brand or patent, or acts as an exclusive representative of a manufacturer or brand, please refer to the Non-Exhibiting Manufacturer (NEM) category.
If your company supplies products, parts, tools, equipment, or services to businesses within the industry, please refer to the Material/Equipment/Service Supplier to Industry (MES) category.
Companies performing the function of a NEM or MES are not permitted to attend the show under any other registration category and will be recategorized during the qualification process.
Please note: Government officials such as city council members, city mayors, chamber of commerce members, or individuals affiliated with local government or civic organizations do not qualify for attendance unless they also meet the criteria for an approved registration category.
Show Management reserves the right to permit or deny admission to anyone based on information provided, to accept or reject information submitted, to request additional information at any time, and to recategorize attendee records based on our admissions requirements. If it is found that you registered in the incorrect category, you will be switched to the correct category, and the corresponding fee will be due. Recategorization does not provide an exception to the

Active Law Enforcement/Military
Active duty enlisted/officers, sworn law enforcement, correctional officers, and federal agents
Company and Owner/Employee Qualification Options:
Proof of employment as active duty officer/agent
Reserve LE officers and volunteer officers, who qualify, should see qualifications for a purchaser category or Civilian Law Enforcement/Military.
Active LE Agency Department Purchaser
Active duty officer, reserve or civilian employee with direct authority to make industry purchases on behalf of their company/division with exhibitors
Company and Owner/Employee Qualification Options (all required):

Provide a letter of intent from an attorney or bank, on official letterhead and signed (wet or e-signed with timestamp), stating your intent to start an industry business. The letter must include the company’s name, company’s industry function and owner(s) name(s)
Only company owner (s) may attend. Employees are not permitted for a startup company
The letter of intent takes the place of standard show qualifications and may only be used once. Company and owners will receive a 1-year approval. Standard qualifications will be required for future show attendance.
