Proudly serving Brookhaven and parts of Shirley, Bellport and Yaphank since 1923.  The Brookhaven Fire Department was founded May 10, 1923.  We exist to serve and protect the lives and property of the Brookhaven Fire District, Long Island, New York.  The Brookhaven Fire Department covers a large area - from Brookhaven Hamlet to William Floyd Parkway in Shirley, north to the Long Island Expressway and south protecting the shores of the Great South Bay.  We are made of pure volunt
eers - members of the community who have taken it upon themselves to help those in need of assistance during times of trouble.  We thank you for your support!
