Atlas of NSW Wildlife
This atlas contains recorded sightings of plants, mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and endangered invertebrates in New South Wales. It does not contain records of fish. Use the search form to find recorded sightings and maps of plants or animals in a particular area.
AuScope Portal
The AuScope Portal was created to provide a front end to the Australian Earth Model established under the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy funded AuScope activity. The Portal provides access to geosciences information in an interoperable manner via open standards. The Portal includes access to geosciences information made available by AuScope, the Australian state and territory Geological Surveys, Geoscience Australia and many other organisations with earth science data. Data is also accessible via
standards-based metadata

The Australian Public Service Employment Database Internet Interface provides querying capability on a database of staff employed within the APS under the authority of the
Public Service Act 1999
(PS Act). This is only a part of total public sector employment across Australia. Staff employed in Commonwealth-owned companies, statutory authorities, the defence forces and government business enterprises that are not employed under the PS Act are not included. State and local government staff are also not included.

The Australian Spatial Data Directory (ASDD) provides these search interfaces to discover geospatial dataset descriptions (metadata) throughout Australia. A dataset description is a concise document which consistently explains a certain set of geospatial (earth-related) data, and provides links to further information and possibly to the actual data.
Australian Taxation Office (ATO) statistics centre
The ATO collects information from a variety of sources to undertake its activities as the Government’s principal revenue collection agency, including tax returns and activity statements. This information can also be used to produce statistics which can be used to inform the community about the taxation and superannuation systems.
Australian UV Levels
ARPANSA publishes current ultraviolet radiation (UVR) levels for Australian capital cities on its website. This data is also available to application developers, for use in, for example, mobile device applications. The data represents instantaneous recorded UV levels for capital cities in Australia, adjusted for daylight saving if applicable. The data is collected continuously by detectors that respond to UVR in a manner similar to human skin. This type of UVR is known as erythemal UVR because it causes reddening of the skin, and is implicated as a cause of skin cancer.

Geoscience Australia
Geoscience Australia is custodian of the nation’s geographical and geological data and knowledge. It undertakes applied geoscientific research and maintains, develops and encourages access to a vast array of fundamental geoscientific data.
The agency provides first class science and information that assists all levels of government, industry and the community to make informed decisions on some of the most important challenges facing Australia.

Heritage Council of WA – Places Database
The Places Database allows you to search for places listed on the State Register of Heritage Places, which is managed by the Heritage Council of WA. There are 1,300+ places listed on the State Register, including buildings, structures, gardens, cemeteries, landscapes and archaeological sites.
It also includes heritage places lists on local government heritage inventories, Commonwealth heritage lists and the List of Classified Places managed by the National Trust of Australia (WA).
