Introduction
This document describes version 1.0 of the
namespace. It also contains a directory of links to related resources using the
Resource Directory Description Language (RDDL) 2.0
Link Relations URI Versioning Policy
It is the intent of the OASIS Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) Technical Committee that the Link Relations and their semantics will not change arbitrarily with each subsequent revision of the corresponding WSDL or XML Schema documents but rather change only when a subsequent revision, published in conjunction with a Committee Draft, results in non-backwardly compatible changes from a previously published Committee Draft.
Under this policy, the following are examples of backwards compatible changes that would not result in assignment of a new link relation URI:
addition of new semantics that extend the current behavior
addition of operations on the link relation

This link relation MUST point to a resource containing an Atom Feed of CMIS relationship resources for the CMIS resource containing this link relation.
When used on a CMIS Relationship resource, this link relation MUST point to an atom entry document for the CMIS Resource specified by the cmis:sourceId property on the relationship.
When used on a CMIS Relationship resource, this link relation MUST point to an atom entry document for the CMIS Resource specified by the cmis:targetId property on the relationship.
