DROs are responsible for the overall management of records for the entire department. This session covers what those responsibilities are.

For state employees who are new to records management or need a refresher.
Virtual Tour of the State Records Center
This session covers how records are sent to the State Records, how records are requested, and to see what records warehouse looks like. Shipping is available for g-funded agencies on the neighbor islands.
Creating or Updating Records Retention Schedules
An annual review of Departmental Records Retention Schedules is highly recommended. This session provides step by step instructions on how to create or update records retention schedules.
Using Versatile Web
State Records Center replaced its records warehouse management system in July 2024. This training session will show you how to submit requests to store via Versatile Web or ARM-5/5a form; how to request records to be sent to you; and how to respond to authorization requests for permission to destroy records that have met retention.
