How to Prepare for a Great Donor Experience
Donating blood with Blood Bank of Delmarva is quick, safe, and easier than you might think. Plan for about 45-60 minutes for your whole blood donation visit, or approximately 2 hours for platelet donations. Here’s what to expect during your appointment.
What to Expect When You Give Blood
After your first donation, or upon request, you will receive an official BBD Donor ID Card.
You may use this card as an acceptable form of identification when you donate blood, platelets, or plasma.
