Member Testimonials
Testimonial from John Quinlan
I think it's important to join; if you want change, be a part of it.  Be a collective voice. Work with others. Don't just complain -  do something about it. Don't just sit on the sidelines.

Testimonial from Erica Thompson
If you're not a member of AAHomecare, you should definitely look into it. We're all in this together, and we all need this collective voice to be together, to work together, to improve our bottom lines. So get out there and do it. You won't regret it.

Testimonial from Mike Scarsella
It's a small industry, but at times we all work in our own silos and we all spend a lot of time on our own path. Networking through AAHomecare has allowed us to have conversations with members of our industry that we don't normally on a regular basis. In our case, it gives us a chance to connect with other manufacturers, even manufacturers that we compete with on a regular basis. AAHomecare provides that common ground for us to sort of put that competitive nature aside and work together to figure out how we can better the industry alongside AAHomecare.

Testimonial from Chrysalis Ashton
I have learned a great deal about government relations, reimbursement, and billing from my peers at AAHomecare – specifically during the legislative conference and participating on a work group. Being a member and representing our company has sparked my passion for advocacy and addressing legislative challenges.

Testimonial from David Griffin
I personally think AAHomecare is in the major leagues.  there's a lot of organizations that do different things on a state or national level. But what I've seen with AAHomecare and the people at AAHomecare is a step above and really helping us with certain things such as Committee Bidding. I would encourage everybody with Competitive Bidding going on to come to Washington May 13th and 14th to talk with legislators with AAHomecare.  This is very, very important. And it's very important that the suppliers come to Washington to talk with their representatives. It really can make a difference. It's very important that these legislators really know what we do as companies and why this is not a good idea for not only small suppliers, any supplier, and most importantly, patients.

Diabetes Specialty Supply (TX)
The AAHomecare Council meetings are a highly valuable benefit to the HME Industry and my company. We can meet with fellow industry leaders who have the same concerns and challenges and work together to make a change in how we serve our customers and community. It has been very satisfying! Also, AAHomecare has a strong staff who keep us informed of important issues and are our advocates on The Hill.
Roxanne Venard, RRT
Ascent Respiratory Care (CO)
Being part of AAHomecare means that we have a voice within the organization and the industry.  Membership helps our organization become stronger to take care of our community; it also  helps us network across the nation, developing relationships with other providers in similar situations and working together to come up with solutions that are better for the Industry.
Cheryl Henninger, MHA, RRT
Community Cares Health Solutions (NY)
AAHomecare is a one stop shop for everything that we need to grow our business.  With the help of AAHomecare, I have access to open doors and to people's phone numbers and in person meetings with people that I would never get the opportunity to at the state level.
Nancy Nittler
Stance Health Solutions (CA)
What initially attracted me to AAHomecare as the ability to share ideas, solve problems with others in the industry, and ultimately move our profession forward.  AAHomecare has been extremely helpful for our business with reimbursement changes, education, lobbying and support!
Gayle Devin
Home Care Delivered (VA)
I have been able to look to the payer relations team, the legislative teams, and in every direction that I need to find help and solutions to the challenges that I'm facing in my industry… I don't think I could find what I find in AAHomecare anywhere else!
Pam Jones
Home Medical Supplies, Inc. (CO)
For me and with our company, I feel like now I have this network of professionals that I trust, that are extremely knowledgeable and that are willing to share best practices and pitfalls to avoid in the industry.  And I feel like they're just down the door through this membership.  It's really impressive!
Lisa Wells
Med-South, Inc. (AL)
It's been amazing being part of AAHomecare because they're engaged at so many levels in the industry. They're engaged with federal, state lawmakers. They're engaged with CMS. They're engaged with 50 different state Medicaid programs. It's been a tremendous value.
Craig Rae
Penrod Medical (NC)
AAHomecare’s collective voice has enabled us to work not only at a federal level, but at a state level to make positive change.  Because together as one, we're able to bring a much stronger voice and independently.
John Quinlan
Quinlan's Pharmacy and Medical Equipment (NY)
Being a part of AAHomecare has allowed us to collaborate with other companies. We share our struggles, we share our pains, and it allows us really to collaborate so we can all come together for the same success… What sets AAHomecare apart from others in the industry is their constant support. It's been a godsend to have them!
Erica Thompson
Commonwealth Home Health (NC)
What sets AAHomecare apart from others in the industry is they truly care about the members that are a part of AAHomecare. They go above and beyond for us, and for our competitors, so it allows us to become a collective voice and to have a seat at the table when decisions are being made. It’s the only organization that I know of that actually cares about our entities and what’s going on, so I couldn’t recommend AAHomecare more. We have continued to work with them hand in hand and continue to be a part of what they have to offer, and they’re just a wonderful organization.

Total Medical Supply (TX)
I don’t know any other association like AAHomecare that has opportunities even if you’re a small supplier like I am where you have a larger voice because you can work with many suppliers across the nation as well as manufacturers to address the various issues we come up against in DME.
Kristina McIntosh
Schraders Medical Supply (CA)
What I love best about AAHomecare is the ability to network with like-minded people that are fighting on behalf of this industry and ultimately, the patients. The events at AAHomecare are a great opportunity to get together with all levels of our customers and to discuss industry issues and how we're all going to be successful moving forward.   It really helps our customers, and if we can help our customers, we're going to be successful, too.
Rob Boeye
Parachute Health (NY)
I think one of the best things about AAHomecare is the opportunity to connect with everyone through different councils, work groups, and the legislative fly-in days.  You really get to understand and see what challenges are that the HME providers are facing.  As a distributor or a vendor in the HME space, that's critical if you want to help your customers grow.

"One of the absolute delights that Iencountered when I joined was the actual staff of  AAHomecare. I like to think of them as small but mighty. They're efficient. Dollars are not wasted. But I tell you, these people care & have a passion for our space that absolutely inspires me. They help me continue to lean in & want to do this even more."

Commitment to Preventing Fraud in the Homecare Sector
AAHomecare is committed to protecting the integrity of the Medicare program and strongly supports robust, real-time tools to detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive billing. Our association
has long championed enhanced oversight of new suppliers, closer monitoring of billing trends, and wider adoption of ePrescribing to strengthen verification and patient safety. As we work to
eliminate fraud, we also urge policymakers to ensure that legitimate suppliers can continue providing beneficiaries with timely access to medically necessary homecare products and services.
