Soz konusu sistemlerin cogu, veri ve bilgileri vucudumuzdan toplamakta ve kullanicinin durumuna ve/ veya yasam bicimine iliskin aninda geri bildirim saglamak icin temel bir veri islemeyi desteklemektedir. Bu nedenle, genellikle saglikla ilgili teknolojik cihazlar olarak kabul edilirler. Akilli giysilerin tasarlanmasi, ozellikle kullanici ve teknik gerekliliklerle ilgili, tip, spor ve fitness, yasam tarzi izleme, isyeri ve is kosullari analizi gibi cok farkli uygulamalar nedeniyle guclu disiplinler arasi etkilere sahiptir. Beri yandan, giyilebilir teknoloji, icinde yasanilan donemin moda trendlerine bagli, sosyal ve ayni zamanda oznel bir tercih yapisi da sergilemektedir. There are narrow or broad definitions of mission in scope. "A narrow mission very clearly states the organizations primary business and will limit the scope of the company's activities in terms of the product or service offered, the technology used, and probably the market served" [1]. This study aims to examine the mission statements of the first 20 Textile and Apparel Companies from the list of the Global Fortune and Turkey Fortune Lists. In order to realize this purpose, a content analysis was conducted for mission statements of the companies by using nine items. The main purpose is to investigate the differences in explanation of the reason of their existence between the globally and locally successful companies. This research thought to be helpful to the local companies, which wants to be successful, while they are preparing their mission statements during globalization process. Methodology-In order to create an agile supply chain proposal, a new model has been designed on the basis of the models developed by Martin Christopher, Robert Lowson & Helen Peck (2004) and Claudia Loebbecke & Jonathan Palmer (2006). Findings-By this integrated applicable structure of this proposal, it is aimed to support the efforts focused on product and process improvement. In this way, it is intended to contribute to the sustainability of the fashion industry. Conclusion-An agile supply chain model including the benefits of RFID in the fashion industry has been designed. RFID is a promising technology that helps organizations and minimizes problems in supply chain management, and also plays an important role in order to propose new solutions for a greener sustainable industrial world.

Due to the rapid cycles of fashion, sustainable products and processes in terms of technical creativity and innovative approach are needed. In this context, fashion marketing emerges as an integrative marketing application with its both technical and social aspects by taking potential customers center that symbolize rapid change and creativity of fashion products. In this study, QFD-House of Brand was designed with Quality Function Deployment (QFD) approach. In this context, the experts (focus group) in Fashion Industry evaluated the selected fashion brand and its selected products by prioritizing the criteria. These evaluations were used in QFD-House of Brand. Thus, technical and social aspects of fashion industry were analysed together. By this technique, QFD-House of Brand established in relation to products and brand was interpreted and optimization suggestions were presented in accordance with the findings of the research. In addition, suggestions on sustainability and optimization of brand equity in fashion industry were provided.

Thus, it is necessary to develop the ability to design and manage innovative projects and having the entrepreneurial mind for continuous improvement. Creativity and innovation has an important role on the entrepreneurial success especially in fashion industry. The fashion industry, with its seasonal cyclic demand, requires intense creativity over a short time cycle that repeats every three months. Such intensity in today's global economy, relies on creativity and innovation of products and processes. Innovation is an essential element in enterprises by creating new business activity and ensuring survival. Generally, entrepreneurs who are succeed and sustain accomplishment in fashion industry, have opposed to existing ideas, norms, values and business practices. In this context, the objective of this study is to investigate the case of Vakko, the most last standing and innovative fashion brand in Turkey, by considering innovations that has been aimed to submit and Vakko Esmod collaboration they have built up. The introductory part of the study elaborates two dimensions of "creativity and innovation" in the fashion industry. In the second part, innovation oriented entrepreneurship is evaluated and in the third part, creativity process in fashion industry is highlighted. In the last part of the study, the case of Vakko and Vakko Esmod collaboration are investigated by considering the fashion brand's innovativeness and historical creativity process.

Ekonomik etkinlik ve sınır ötesi teknolojilerdeki ilerlemelerin güçlü bir şekilde yönlendirilmesi sayesinde moda ürünlerinin küreselleşmesi iyi bir gelişme olarak öngörülmektedir. Birçok toplum; güçlerini arttırma, varlıklarını kurma ve yeterliliklerini küresel alana taşımak için bir fırsat olarak bu durumdan avantaj sağlamaktadır. Bunların yanı sıra moda markaları New York, Londra, Milano ve Paris gibi belli ülke ve şehirlerle ilişkilidir ve bu moda değer zincirleri, moda araştırmacılarından büyük ilgi gören çeşitli yollarla küreselleşmiştir. Çünkü moda Nye'nin (2004) ‘yumuşak güç’olarak adlandırdığı önemli bir kaynaktır; bir başka deyişle, belirli bir ülkenin askeri güç kullanmadan diğer ülkeleri etkileyebileceği yollardır. Bu bağlamda; bu kalitatif araştırma, Türkiye'nin konumunu tehdit eden zorlukları belirleyerek ve Türkiye’nin konumunun daha da sağlamlaştırılması için tedbirler önerereköngörülen küresel moda senaryolarındaki konumunu ele almaktadır. Bu sayede, küresel moda girişimcileri arasında yumuşak gücün nasıl paylaşıldığı ve İstanbul'un diğer moda başkentlerine karşı gücünün daha iyi anlaşılmasını sağlamayı amaçlanmaktadır.

Sosyal yaşamımızı her sezon yenilenen ürün yelpazesiyle büyük ölçüde etkileyen moda endüstrisi, ekonomik büyüme ve istihdama önemli katkıda bulunmaktadır. Bunun yanı sıra, gün geçtikçe gelişen e-ticaret uygulamaları ise net ve sade bir ifadeyle, ticaretin elektronik olarak gerçekleştirilmesi olarak tanımlanabilir. Bu bağlamda, işlem sürelerinin kısalması ve kolaylaşması, moda endüstrisindeki e-ticaret uygulamalarında hızlı büyümeye neden olmuş ve diğer yandan; hız, fiyat ve kalite anlamında sunmuş oldukları çeşitlilikten ve ürün-marka karşılaştırma kolaylığından dolayı moda ürünlerine olan online talebin artmasına ve dolayısıyla e-işlem hacimlerinin yükselmesine neden olmuştur. İnternete bağlı bir işletmeden başarı elde etmek için girişimcilerin tüm fonksiyonları dengelemeleri gerekmektedir. Bu araştırma; üretim, pazarlama-markalaşma çalışmaları ve lojistik anlamında gerçekleştirilen Tozlu.com'un bütünleşik elektronik uygulama modelini ve geliştirilmiş olan e-stratejiyi incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Türkiye'den global bir online girişim olan Tozlu.com örnek olay olarak ele alınarak nitel bir analiz gerçekleştirilmiştir. İlgili literatür tarandığında, araştırmaların çoğunun araştırmacıları, kendi bakışaçıları ve deneyimlerine doğrultusunda e-ticaret başarısını etkileyen faktörleri (CSF-kritik başarı faktörleri) belirlediği görülmektedir. Özellikle moda endüstrisinde global hızlı moda (fast fashion) markalarının belirlenmiş olan ortak kritik başarı faktörleriyle kendi başarılarını kazandıkları izlenmiştir. Until now, these two concepts together were an oxymoron. However, today, for fashion companies, this dual combination symbolizes a crucial promise for the future. In recent years, affordable and trend-sensitive fashion have been detected as highly profitable but this situation has raised discussion on ethical issues in fashion industry. Generally, the fashion industry strives for competitive advantage through product innovation. Accordingly, the fashion industry has been criticised for exploiting human rights, animal welfare, textile pollution from production and waste, use of non-renewable resources and over packaging. For these reasons, a fashion manufacturer would consider not only aesthetical, creative and trendy fashion designs but also cleaner production processes, logistics, recycling process and corporate social responsibilities or in other words, basically generate eco-concepts for all products and processes in fashion industry. In this context, eco-concepts has been utilised as a medium to distinguish environmental-friendly products and processes from others as a sustainable competitive advantage in the fashion market. This research uses a case study on an eco-friendly company from Turkey to demonstrate the significance of eco-concepts in supply chain management in fashion industry. On the basis of literature synthesis of eco-perspectives, the research provides a discussion platform on the case study.

The school, having the slogan 'combining art and technology by starting from a scratch', stresses the research and creation process in radical experimental studies on photography, and has played an important role in the evolution of photography. The Bauhaus aimed at reconstructing visual environment; and camera was an ideal medium for Bauhaus because of its characteristic of producing technological image by combining art and technology. The school structured its experimental studies on the researches of new educated photographers; it erased the past of the perception, which was far from research and innovations, of photography, which was based, up to that time, on established 'modern', individual inspiration, and it initiated the efforts of reconstruction. Photography was reunited with new styles of observation, affluence of expression, and new techniques, which are still in use today, by the help of experimental studies at the Bauhaus being conducted within this framework. Adolph Hitler's appointment as German Chancellor in 1933 signalled the end of the Weimar Constitution and the Bauhaus. The aim of the National Socialists was to be able to ensure the prosperity of the German nation by eliminating all the factors that could confuse the superior German nation's mind. This paper argues whether the techniques developed as results of the experimental photography researches conducted at the Bauhaus, were effective on the advertising photographs published during the Third Reich. It is claimed that the techniques developed at the Bauhaus, founded in Weimar Republic, as results of the experimental photography researches were applied in the advertisements, which were parts of life reshaped as a result of the efforts for nazification of art, culture and advertising sector by National Socialists during the Third Reich, despite the fact that Bauhaus was closed in 1933 by being described as a bolschevic institution. 1.Bauhaus in 'Golden' Twenties In the twenties, Germany experienced a great upsurge in intellectual and artistic life. The roots of this cultural revival and the modern ideas and creations which furthered it mostly originated around the turn of the century. But it was now that these developments achieved their widest impact, especially since in many respects the new democratic constitution offered them much greater scope. 1 The Bauhaus School was established in Weimar Republic in 1919 after World War I; and it emphasizes reconstruction of ruined values and hopes after the war. The founders of school sought to use and improve new facilities provided by technology and science, such as photography, in creating a new and modern world as contrary to the traditional mentality dominating to that time. They endeavored to develop styles of perception by training new individuals in order to design this utopian environment. Experimental studies on photography have a great importance among the researches for the purpose of improving photography. The Bauhaus School aimed at reconstructing visual environment by 'combining art and technology'; and camera has been an ideal medium for Bauhaus because of its characteristic of producing technological image by combining art and technology. Bauhaus structured its experimental studies on the researches of new educated photographers; it erased the past of the perception, which was far from research and innovations, of photography, which was based, up to that time, on established 'modern', individual inspiration, and it initiated the efforts of reconstruction. Photography was reunited with new styles of observation, affluence of expression, and new techniques, which are still in use today, by the help of experimental studies in the Bauhaus being conducted within this framework. countries beyond EU frame such as Turkey.
What's interesting, the lowest, local level of administration,
one may find strategic development
strategies of municipalities based on the
principle of sustainability. This is seen in the
very titles of these documents. In regional development
strategies this referral is not so clear
any more. They consider chosen sustainable aspects,
but they rather do not refer to the whole
concept as such.
This aim of the paper is to explain significance
of sustainable development for local government
units and their promotion on the example
of Poland with relation to other countries.
