(MSCHE or the Commission). Pennsylvania College of Technology's accreditation status is Accreditation Reaffirmed. The Commission’s most recent action on the institution’s accreditation status on June 23, 2022 was to reaffirm accreditation.

Grant Activity to Date
Twenty-seven active/approved projects in excess of $68.1 million and $14.5 million (14 projects) submitted/under development (as of 9/16/25). Active/approved projects include the WEDnetPA program at $32.9 million and the Weatherization Training & Technical Assistance program at $21.6 million.

WEDnetPA
Summary
The WEDnetPA program received $11,000,000 in funding. The College serves as the fiscal agent and statewide administrator for the program that helps Pennsylvania companies offset the cost of upskilling their workforce. This year, the program supported 532 companies and their 17,764 employees.
Workforce Development
Summary
(July 1, 2024–June 30, 2025)
Workforce Development served a total of 5,453 worker enrollments from 532 employers in 42 states/districts and 28 countries. Custom training, apprenticeships, pre-apprenticeships, and technical assistance services were provided to address workforce needs across a range of sectors and program areas including: manufacturing, building performance, polymers, health sciences, transportation, computer, and business/leadership.
Manufacturing
MIDAS+ (Modular Industry-Driven Apprenticeship Strategies), a U.S. Department of Labor $4M federal grant to expand the pre-apprenticeship-to-apprenticeship pipeline in manufacturing, started July 2024.
During Year 1, 372 apprenticeship participants were served and a new CNC Operator (18-month) apprenticeship was registered. A total of 153 workers and 9 companies received custom industrial and safety training.
Workforce Readiness
AMP (Advanced Manufacturing Pre-Apprenticeship), the longest-running PA registered pre-apprenticeship, enrolled 151 high school and out-of-school youth from 26 schools across the state. An AMP Re-entry program was offered for the first time at a prison pre-release center.
The Next Door program, a workforce readiness initiative funded through the PA DCED’s Weatherization Assistance Program, was deployed in a total of 19 schools in PA, providing 59 high school instructors and students with a building science credential and work-based learning with industry partners.
Polymers
Worked with 57 companies from 18 states to complete 38 R&D projects and train 169 employees in workshops.
Building Performance
Provided accredited Home Energy Professional training, certification, and technical assistance to 3,378 workers and registered a new apprenticeship for Energy Specialist as part of $13.7M in contracts with PA Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED) for Weatherization Training and Technical Assistance.
Health Sciences
Trained 47 Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), 42 EMTs, and 31 Paramedics, with NREMT test pass rates higher than PA and national averages. In addition to the LPN program’s central training location in Wellsboro, Williamsport was approved as a satellite location to expand the program’s reach.
