The problem was, was it better to deliver this training as blended or as online? And does such training differ according to the teachers using Second Life or not using Second Life? The study group consisted of 74 primary school, high school and university English Language Teachers, who are enrolled in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, The Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sports, and whose ages differed between 21 and 61. 37 of them attended to the online course and 37 of them attended to the blended learning course. The number of teachers who have joined to the Second Life classes were 37 and the number of teachers who have not joined to the Second Life classes were 37. In the research study pre-test and post-test experimental design is used. As a result, a significant difference among the success of the English Language Teachers who have joined to second life, and who have not joined to second life is found. This is a very important result. Further researches are necessary to find out if Second Life can be used in other diciplines. If the proper delivery methods is used both blended and online education will be successful.

After the first year of this theoretical education, the assignments and exams become more practical and applicable. The same situation keeps going in business life for CS and Information Technology (IT) areas. This will result the male outnumbering to the females in education and business life for CS relative areas. In this study, we try to discuss some inferences about this underrepresentation of females in such areas. The more practical nature of CS is held as a basis of statistical hypothesis and some statistical tests are performed on theoretical and practical overall grades of female and male students in Bahcesehir University. The results and findings are delivered with the final discussions.

It was identified that there are only a few academic studies on coding training in Turkey, and that the majority of them were published in 2016, the intended population was mainly "undergraduate students" and that the majority of these students were Computer Education and Instructional Technology undergraduates. It was determined that the studies mainly focused on the subjects of "programming" and "Scratch", the terms programming and coding were used as synonyms, most of the studies were carried out using quantitative methods and data was obtained mostly by literature review and scale/survey interval techniques.

The sample of this study consists of 965 teacher candidates having education in the 3 rd and 4 th grades in the Faculty of Education of Celal Bayar University in the 2014-2015 academic year. "The Life-long Learning Competency Scale", developed by researchers as a data collection tool and Screening Model were used in the study. Analysis of the data was performed with an SPSS 17.00 program. From the results obtained from this study, it is seen that a significant difference has been created in the "personal enterprise and entrepreneurship competency perception" attitudes of teacher candidates in terms of the gender variable. Hence, the reasons for these differences should be sought in detail by studies carried out in the future.

The research is an experimental research, designed according to the pretest-posttest research model with experimental and control groups. In the experimental group, the lectures were carried out according to the flipped classroom model while the control group was taught with the traditional methods in the laboratory environment. As a result of the research, the success of the digital game development and the opinions of the students were favored by the experimental group students who were educated with the flipped classroom model. The results obtained in the last part of the study and suggestions for the results are discussed.

For this purpose the data gained from 198 computer education in Turkey and in Cyprus was studied. Students' definitions were different than the definitions in the literature. However, with or without a correct definition, tactile was the students' best learning style preference.

This research explores the social media world and how teachers use social media in their classes, by conducting a mixed method research where open-ended questionnaires were given to lecturers and interviews were further conducted with some selected lecturers in order to assess how they use social media in their classes. The information collected was organized and used to teach part of a class in multimedia development course where they serve as the control group. A close-ended questionnaire was then administered to the control group at the end of the course and their level of satisfaction recorded. The remaining part of the class forms the experimental group and was taught using the researcher's 9-point method of applying social media in the classroom; using the same questionnaire, their satisfaction level was recorded. The data collected on the student's satisfaction level was analyzed using SPSS software version 20 and the result was that most of the teachers employ the social media for personal use, and that older teachers use less social media in education than their younger counterparts. High social media usage was found among both the teachers and students so also was the time spent on social media and a significant increase in satisfaction level was noticed among students of the experimental group.

The study uses two study groups. The first group comprises 384 university students conducting exploratory factor analysis, and the second comprises 305 students conducting confirmatory factor analysis. The analysis resulted in a 16 item, four-factor structure with factor loading values all between 0.45 and 0.94. This structure makes up for 54.4% of the total variance. The factors were named usefulness, communication, preference for distance learning, and preference for face to face learning. The confirmatory factor analysis results show that this model displays decent coherence. The reliability studies show that internal consistency coefficients are values all between 0.67 and 0.84. It was also discovered that the scale dimensions display no difference with regard to gender. These results show that this scale is a valid and reliable tool.
