Located in the heart of Johnson County, Doe Mountain Recreation Area features 8600 acres of protected mountain terrain and trails that are perfect for four seasons of adventure. From OHV trails, mountain biking, hiking, bird watching, and enjoying the fellowship around the fire pit at the Adventure Center... Doe Mountain is the setting for a full day of fun.
Relax on our front porch, enjoy one of our special community events, throw an axe, or ride down to town to enjoy lunch... the Doe Mountain Experience will keep you entertained from daylight to sunset.
Bring your own off-highway vehicle, mountain bike, or hiking boots and escape into stunning, rugged natural scenery for an unforgettable expedition. Day and Annual Passes are available online or by stopping by in person at the Adventure Center during daily business hours.
