Residency | FAFSA | Applications
NC Countdown to College (C2C) kicks off in October; it’s a year-long initiative where we encourage you to complete the following three steps in college enrollment: residency, financial aid, and college applications.
NC Residency
Complete your NC residency determination to be considered for in-state tuition (a significant savings in the cost of going to college), state grants/scholarships, and certain financial aid.

Learn more about financial aid and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to help you pay for college. The FAFSA application will open in October, and you can prepare for it by visiting the FAFSA 101 page.
