Synopsis

Overview
"Que Dao Men Legend Season 2" (Chinese: 鹊刀门传奇第二季) is a 2025 Chinese mainland wuxia sitcom web series directed by Tang Tiejun and Wu Di, written by the Aido Media scriptwriting studio. The series is led by Zhao Benshan, with starring roles from Song Xiaobao, Song Xiaofeng, Wen Song, Cheng Ye, Yang Shulin, Tian Wa, Wang Xiaohu, Tang Jianjun, Ge Shanshan, and Li Xiaohe, and special appearances by Ma Su, Zhao Jiwei, Xu Juncong, Liu Liu, Bu Yu, and Wang Junrui.
The series is co-produced by Tencent Video, Bangban Culture, and Benshan Media, and premiered exclusively on Tencent Video on January 22, 2025.
It is the sequel to the 2023 hit series "Que Dao Men Legend." It scored 7.9 on Douban upon release, later rising to 8.2, and was rated the highest-scoring Douban costume drama at the start of 2025.
Plot
With the failure of Eunuch Cao's conspiracy, the martial world of Liaodong returns to peace.西门长海 (played by Zhao Benshan) survives his ordeal and, after recovering, rejoins Dingyuan Alliance to continue his duty of defending the land against Japanese pirates.
His elder brother,西门长在 (also played by Zhao Benshan), gradually settles into the role of sect leader at Que Dao Men, occasionally indulging in fantasies of being a chivalrous hero and enjoying it.
However, beneath the calm, undercurrents stir. The Japanese pirates are swayed by the benefits offered by King Jinlu and help him stage a performance for西门长在. Cao Dongdong (played by Yang Shulin) and others secretly plot new schemes.
The series blends wuxia with sitcom elements, perfectly combining humor and martial arts. Zhao Benshan and his disciples showcase both comedic talent and the chivalrous spirit of martial arts heroes.
