What is the role of the
Nominating and Elections Committee?
Members of the Nominating and Elections Committee are elected by the House of Delegates to seek out candidates for national office and to present a slate of nominees for all elected positions of the association.  The committee also oversees the campaigning at the convention.  The committee's function is a vital one, and its sole responsibility.  There are four members of the Nominating and Elections Committee, including the chairperson, who is elected from among the committee members by the House of Delegates.  The chairperson directs the work of the committee so that it will properly fulfill its assignment.  The Nominating and Elections Committee reports to the House of Delegates.
