How to access online communities
Our communities are based on Circle, a platform that allows you to network, converse and collaborate with your fellow members from across the society.
You can use Circle on your computer or on your phone via the free app, which we'd recommend downloading, search Circle Communities in your usual app store and look for the purple logo with a C.
Joining is really easy. All you need to do is:
- Request your invitation on your member portal
- Download the free Circle app if you plan to access the community on your phone
- Either login via the Circle app if you've downloaded it to your mobile, or head to: https://login.circle.so/sign_in via desktop.
- Introduce yourself, start having discussions with other members, create polls, share news and post resources.
The platform organises content into various 'spaces', making it easy to find discussion areas, resources and events.
Looking for a member network community?
If you're a member of a member network with a community the sign up process is the same, follow the steps above and once complete, it will automatically give you access to any communities you're eligible for.
If you've already joined our online communities on Circle, such as Member Connect, our all member community, you'll automatically have been given access to any new member network communities we've launched, so there's no need to sign up twice.
Not all member networks have communities, as they are member led, but if we've launched one for a member network you're part of, you should have seen an email.
If you think you should have access to a community and you can't see it in Circle when you login, please contact the team via [email protected].
If you've forgotten your login details for Circle, you can reset your password here.
We look forward to seeing you on our online communities!
Already a member of another Circle community?
If you're already subscribed to another, non-BPS community run on the Circle platform app, to access your BPS community within that, you'll need to have registered with Circle using your preferred email address listed on your My BPS portal, otherwise you will have two separate Circle logins to switch between.
If you'd like to avoid this, you can either update your email address on the other Circle community that you have, here are the instructions from Circle to allow you to do that.
OR, you can choose to update your preferred email on your My BPS portal if you prefer. To do that you'll need to sign into the portal and select the 'Personal details' tile to update your contact information.
Once all of your Circle communities are under the same e-mail, you'll see the BPS logo appear on the left-hand side within your Circle community area on desktop.
Just click the the icon to view the BPS online communities.
