Wikipedia 10K Redux, revamped
Back in
2010
, I
wrote a small Python 2 script to reconstruct the first 10,000 Wikipedia
contributions; they had been lost, but
Tim Starling
found some old UseMod database dumps. The result was rough: no wiki
markup rendering, no links between pages, and bare-bones HTML. Sixteen
years later, and with the help of Claude (Opus 4.6), I’ve addressed most
of those issues. Enjoy!
