An over-height vehicle struck the bridge on August 18, causing significant damage and leading to its immediate closure. The closure caused significant travel disruptions, with temporary shuttle services being established to help residents travel between the two cities.

on our emergency Buckley Connector service.
This temporary shuttle service will help ease the burden on our residents by
improving access to jobs, schools, healthcare, and everyday necessities
