A good night’s sleep is guaranteed at the Sail Loft.
Whether it’s a solo retreat, cozy coastal catch up with friends or a family gathering, the Sail Loft has a range of accommodation options to suit all kinds of travellers.
Our bright, modern rooms are clean and furnished with natural wooden beds and bunks, and decorated with subtle nautical touches and pictures, highlighting the building’s heritage.
Dive into our supremely comfortable beds, which feature the same mattresses found in many of Scotland’s five-star hotels, handmade by Glencraft in Aberdeen. All bed linen is supplied, and fresh towels may be requested for an additional fee. Each bed and bunk has an individual reading light, allowing guests to lose themselves in a good book into the twilight hours. There are also individual secure lockers suitable to store mobile devices, tablets, cameras and more.
Beds can be configured into singles or doubles to accommodate your requirements and for families visiting the Sail Loft, cots can also be provided on request.
Each room is equipped with high-quality insulation and soundproofing to ensure a restful environment. Sail off to sleep in peace and quiet or allow the gentle sounds of the sea fill your room by opening the window.
Bunkrooms and Bedrooms
The Sail Loft comprises of two floors. On the ground floor there is one fully accessible single bedroom and adjacent toilet and shower, and two bunkrooms which sleep four (two bunks) to six people (three bunks).
Upstairs
There are four two-bed rooms with enough space to accommodate an additional cot if needed. These rooms can be reserved for private use and feature adjoining doors, making them suitable for larger groups or families visiting together.
There are two three-bed rooms, also with ample space for a cot, making them ideal for families.
Washrooms
Refresh and prepare for the day in our modern and clean washroom facilities. There are separate male and female toilets and showers, with plenty hot water, located close to the bedrooms. Hairdryers are also available for use.
