Your On-Campus Employment Options
ACC GROW supports two types of on-campus employment opportunities for students:
Work-Study
and
Hourly Employment
by providing valuable work experience, skill development, and financial support while students pursue their education.
College Work-Study Program | Financial Aid Based
The
College Work-Study Program
is a type of financial aid that allows eligible ACC students to work part-time with an ACC employer or an external community service partner.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must demonstrate financial need on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA).
Must be enrolled in at least 6 college credit hours at ACC.
Meet Financial Aid
Satisfactory Academic Progress
(SAP) standards each semester.
Work-study funding is limited, so it’s best to start early.
Must meet additional requirements outlined on the
Financial Aid Website
Work-Study Employment Details:
Work up to
19 hours per week
, depending on eligibility
Receive a
semi-monthly paycheck
Earn
$23.00 – $24.10 per hour
, depending on the position
ACC GROW Hourly Employment Program | Open to all Students
The
ACC GROW Hourly Employment Program
provides part-time job opportunities for students who do not receive work-study funding. These positions are fully funded by the hiring department and available to all eligible students.
Hourly Employment Details:
Work up to
19 hours per week
, depending on departmental needs
Receive a
semi-monthly paycheck
Earn a minimum of
$23 per hour
Must remain enrolled in at least
one credit or Continuing Education (CE) course
each semester
Employment ends no more than
two weeks after graduation
or
after withdrawal from ACC
