The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This new, shorter phone number will make it easier for people to remember and access mental health crisis services. Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRC) are no-cost, central sources of information and assistance for seniors (age 60+) and disabled adults, regardless of income. The ADRC of the North serves residents of Ashland, Bayfield, Iron, Price, and Sawyer Counties.  ADRC services are also available to family members, friends, caregivers, and professionals working with these populations. Services include Information & Assistance, Long-Term Care Options Counseling, Benefits Counseling, Memory Screens, and Vital and Health/Wellness Connections. ADRCs also serve as the entry-way to publicly funded long-term care programs. We welcome you to call us at 1-866-663-3607 or to stop in at one of our branch offices to connect with an ADRC staff member.

The IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct) Program is a Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver for self-directed long-term supports. The program is an option for adults with long term care needs. IRIS is available to Wisconsin residents determined financially eligible for Medicaid, functionally in need of nursing home or Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities level of care; and living in a county where managed long-term care and IRIS are available. For information on how to apply for the IRIS Program, contact your local ADRC.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their drinking problem. It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.A. meetings. There are no age or education requirements to participate. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem. Under the direction of a person’s physician, our experienced staff assists you to purchase or rent the equipment that best meets your needs. Trained professionals assemble the equipment, demonstrate its proper use, and fit the product to match your size and body type. Skilled technicians are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to help people with any problems or questions that might arise. You can depend on us for excellent service and quality products!
Staff will assist you with obtaining insurance verifications, authorizations and prescriptions, when applicable. We will also submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid and/or other health insurance.
