Rental Assistance at EDC
EDC’s Rental Assistance Disbursement Component (RADCo) helps San Francisco tenants who have fallen behind on their rent due to temporary financial setbacks and administers long-term subsidies for low-income tenants.
If you are behind with your rent, RADCo may be able to help you avoid having an eviction filed against you.
If you need help paying your rent due to temporary financial setbacks, contact us to determine your eligibility for rental assistance:

Open for drop-ins: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m and 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
To qualify for rental assistance, you must apply and be approved by RADCo staff. Your application must submit the following documentation, which will be used to determine your eligibility.
Required personal documentation
Photo ID
Proof of total household income.
Rental agreement and/or other proof of your current address
Some additional documents may be required.
Required documentation from your landlord
Proof of current monthly/ weekly rent amount
Tenant ledger (payment history)
Landlord’s name, address, and telephone number
W-9 form completed and signed by landlord
Eligible households can apply to
sferap.com
for back rent, future rent, and move-in costs like security deposit and first month’s rent. The amount of assistance depends on eligibility.
The Housing Subsidies to Seniors and Adults with Disabilities,
serving the community, is funded by the City of San Francisco’s Department of Disability and Aging Services.
