Risk Management Premium Credit Program
United Educators’ (UE’s) team is committed to helping our members create a safe and respectful educational environment for students and educators. We encourage members to participate in the Risk Management Premium Credit (RMPC) program, which enables them to earn a credit on their renewal premium by conducting specific risk management activities.

Review eligible risk topics and mitigation activities to choose from in this year’s RMPC program.
Individual Policyholder Program Overview
Individual policyholders can earn up to a 6% premium credit by completing an eligible risk mitigation activity and uploading supporting documentation.
Group Policyholder Program Overview
Group policyholders can earn up to a 4% premium credit when 80% of the group’s members complete the RMPC program.
Selected Research Partners Program Overview
Research partner institutions can earn up to a 6% premium credit by selecting and participating in a focus group. (Available by invitation only)

Frequently Asked Questions
Members with a general liability (GL) or educators legal liability (ELL) policy are eligible to participate in the RMPC program. The RMPC program doesn’t apply to public K-12 schools or members with only an internships and professional services liability (IPL) policy.

to select your risk mitigation activity, track progress and deadlines, and let us know you’ve completed the program. Our broker partners can also check their clients’ progress in My UE.

Generally, the person designated to manage your institution’s insurance policy will receive the email invitation to begin the RMPC program. However, your institution may have requested a different contact. To change your RMPC contact, you or your broker may email us at

. We will help you assess options and guide you toward something meaningful and achievable for the RMPC program.
While you may select the same topic area as in the previous year, you may not repeat the same risk mitigation activity. For example, if you conducted a driver safety training last year, you may select the Transportation topic area again; however, training under this topic is not eligible for your institution to receive credit in this year’s program.
No, the program offers a credit against a member’s renewal premium.
To complete the RMPC program and earn the premium credit, we ask members to meet the following deadlines:
No later than four months after renewal:
Complete the Intake Form, where you select which risk mitigation to implement.
No later than 10 months after renewal:
Submit documentation that shows the chosen mitigation is complete.

A member with one group GL or ELL policy and one individual GL or ELL policy participates in the RMPC with its group. The credit awarded to the group will apply to all RMPC-eligible policies at the next renewal.
