Registration Dates
The American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program is used.
Registration is done online only through the
Puyallup School District InTouch Online Payment Portal
Late registrations are permitted as availability allows. No refunds once the program has begun.
Fee per session: $88 for eight 30-minute lessons.
Youth Lessons
Each session typically has eight 30-minute lessons
We offer one-on-one swim lessons for $38.50 per 30 minute lesson running concurrent with our public lessons. There are no exceptions to the one-on-one rule.
Private lessons are typically scheduled in eight class sessions.

Open Swim Policies
Admission Rates
Recreational swimming program, open to all ages.
Access to the Activity Pool is typically available during this time,
Use of the Activity pool by children under 18 must have an accompanying, paying, adult (18+) in the water, 2 children per adult.
The pool is set up to allow for free/open play, no lap swimming will be available during this time.
Patrons may bring approved toys, personal flotation devices, and other floats/items during this time for personal use, however, we reserve the right to remove any item deemed to be a hazard or creating an unsafe environment for the other patrons or staff. All children in a floatation device must have an adult within arms reach at all times.
Balls are available on a first-come-first-served basis, to be handed out by pool staff only. Please see the Shift Supervisor or Lifeguard for more details.
All swimmers must wear a swim suit.
Children under 6, non-swimmers, and those in flotation devices must be accompanied in the water by a paying adult. One adult for every two children is required.
Children 12 years of age and younger must be supervised by an adult on site.
Children 13-17 years of age must have a buddy on site.
Locks are not provided, but their use is encouraged.

Pool Management reserves the right to remove any person from the facility for violation of these rules or refusal to obey aquatic staff's directions.
No running on the pool deck or in the locker rooms.
No diving anywhere, except in the diving tank.
Dunking, pushing, splashing, or other horseplay is not allowed.
Climbing, hanging, sitting, or jumping from lane ropes, ladders, railings, or structures not provided for such activities is prohibited.
Spitting, spouting water, or blowing your nose in the pool is prohibited.
Profanity, improper behavior, or vulgar remarks will not be permitted.
Intentional hyperventilation or repetitive/competitive breath holding is not permitted.
All children are the immediate responsibility of the adult who accompanies them. Please watch them at all times and keep them within arm's reach.
There must be one adult (18 years or older) in the water and within arm's reach for every 2 children whom are non-swimmers, in flotation devices, or are under 6 years of age.
Children 12 years and younger must be supervised by an adult (18 years or older) on site. Children 13 - 17 years must have a friend or adult on site.
Anyone with a seizure, heart, or circulatory condition must swim with a partner.
Persons with open sores, rashes, communicable diseases, or that have been ill with vomiting or diarrhea within the last 2 weeks are not allowed in the pool.
Persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not allowed in the pool, locker, or seating areas.
Street shoes are not permitted on the pool deck.
Only swimsuits are permitted, no cut-offs, street clothing, t-shirts, etc.
No face masks or snorkels allowed.
Diapers may only be changed at designated diaper changing areas (locker rooms) and must have protective coverings worn over them while using the pool.
Cleansing showers must be taken before entering the pool.
No food, gum, or beverages permitted in the pool area.
No glass containers in the pool or locker areas.
Spectators must sit in the balcony seating area.
Service animals only. No other animals are permitted anywhere in the facility.
Do not distract or interfere with the lifeguard's duties.
Please follow all direction given by pool staff quickly and orderly.
There is a limit of 2 children per adult 18 years or older in the Activity Pool.
There is a safety limit of 20 persons in the Activity Pool at a time.
Use of flotation devices, balls, and other toys are at the discretion of aquatic staff.
Swimmers under 18 years must pass a swim test to use the boards.
Only one person on the diving boards at a time.
One bounce only.
Dive straight off the end of the board; no back, inward, or reverse dives.
Swim directly to the ladder or wall and exit the water immediately after diving.
Do not sit or play under the basketball hoop.
Ball must be shot within an appropriate distance from the hoop.
Players must only shoot or play with the ball from in the water.
Aggressive or unsportsmanlike play is prohibited.
