Star Fuller joined Renbrook in 2024 as a Lead Preschool Teacher in the Beginning School, bringing both creativity and a deep commitment to early childhood development to her classroom. She holds a BS in Radio, Television, and Film from the University of Texas and later earned her M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Houston. She also completed Integrated Early Childhood coursework at the University of Saint Joseph and holds Connecticut teaching certifications in Early Childhood and Special Education Nursery through Kindergarten, as well as Elementary Grades 1–6.
Star’s professional background includes teaching preschool and pre-kindergarten in both regular and integrated classrooms, as well as first grade. Her work centers on the belief that early childhood is a critical time for social-emotional growth. She sees these skills as the backbone of preschool education, preparing children not only to succeed academically but also to become collaborative, empathetic, and resilient members of their communities.
As a lifelong learner herself, Star is driven by curiosity and a desire to continue growing. She strives to model that same enthusiasm for discovery in her classroom, helping children develop a love of learning that extends far beyond their early school years. She especially appreciates Renbrook’s strong sense of community and the beautiful campus setting, which allows nature to play an active role in the preschool curriculum.
Outside of school, Star enjoys yoga, hiking, cooking, traveling, and reading. She enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and two fluffy pups. A fun fact about Star is that she was once a competitive gymnast and later worked as a television writer and producer for Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta, even walking the red carpet at the SAG Awards while producing programming for the event. Her love of storytelling and adventure continues to inform her creative and joyful approach to teaching.
