Reason(s): Won1017 was blocked due to the malicious sockpuppet usage, and moved to kowiktionary and kowikiquote. After that, Won1017 is making many sock accounts at ko.wikipedia, and same vandalism pattern is now detected at kowiktionary. We should verify whether this vandalism account is made by Won1017. If so, we will request Global Lock of Won1017.

None of these are locked but I note that these accounts came from an IP which was globally blocked earlier today.

to all of the above accounts, so the suspicions around that one can probably be released.
That said, I don't think a global lock is necessary for now. I wrote with Sotiale a few days ago when Won1017 came up at SRG, and they have been given a final warning. No new socks have been coming up since then as far as I can see, at least not from the same IP on kowiktionary, so I think a global lock can wait for now.

I suspect the top user is engaging in sockpuppetry by using unregistered accounts, in order to votestack an RFD discussion on nowp. The top user account has engaged with the third one on
no:Wikipedia:Sletting/Fæsterålen
, and is referencing a different discussion,
no:Wikipedia:Sletting/Huinndagan
, even though that same IP wasn't involved. Via the
IP Info
feature I also noticed that the two IPs shared the same location and ISP, and that location also matches up fairly well to where Colosseum himself (vaguely) says he's from. I'd like a check to be performed so I can be sure.

Hi (or hej), this is not actionable for now because in accordance with the
ANPDP
we cannot publicly link an account to an IP address. We can perform a check if you have any accounts suspected to be related, but we cannot use the IP addresses as a starting point - you need to provide one or more accounts to compare with, otherwise it would be "fishing".

Colosseum hasn't made any edits from other accounts as far as I can tell, only from IPs as far as I can tell. If you're unable to link accounts to IP adresses, then I'll leave it as is.

I'm quoting the

The use of steward rights is restricted by policy; stewards will not use their technical access when there are local users who can use that access, except in emergencies.
The same applies here. As idwiki has local checkusers (in other words, local users who can perform checks), we cannot perform checks there, except in emergencies or if they are the local checkusers are inactive to the point where they have not responded despite notices on their talk page.
Therefore, please submit a local CheckUser request to begin with, as they have their own checkuser team.

Please don't spam here. Stewards cannot grant themselves CU flag on projects in which there are already local CU (except in cases of emergencies). On zhwiki there is no CU so we can intervene! Furthermore, it is not possible to associate users with public IPs per CU and ANPDP policy, so please - as already said - try to reach local CU who are also admins and can better handle this. This request is declined and it's not a place for discussions! --

Well, I'm not sure, I agree some of these do look like spambots at first glance, but I'm not sure either since many of these don't resemble the usual spambot pattern and there is nothing in the abuse log or spam blacklist log. As Sotiale mentioned, might be mass account creation?

Reason(s): This is pretty much a cross-wiki case, but Marvinesis' behaviour is similar to the already locked BilouB. 1) Marvinesis is making tons of edits (not on ocwiki but others) using the growth tool, just like BilouB did. 2) removal of quick deletion templates on the articles that BilouB created. 3) Continuing the creation of similar articles that BilouB created on other wikis (e.g. nlwik). If these can be confirmed, that would constitute lock evasion as well.

While we look into the matter, we'd appreciate help on clarifying one of the accusations leveled against Laziz Baxtiyorov, namely, that it was him who created at least three accounts that directly mock Alpasli. These account names contain the latter's name and are clearly meant to mock him:

Alpaslining muhabbati
("Alpsli's Love"), and
AlpAsli bilan tasodifan uchrashgan qiz
("The Girl who Met Alpsli by Chance").
The very first edit made by AlpAslining sevgilisi was to
replace guillemets with „…“
. This is a rule that hardly any new user of uzwiki knows: unlike most publications that do not bother to look for the curved quotations marks, on uzwiki we've stuck to punctuation rules developed in the 1990s. Similarly, Alpaslining muhabbati created an
exceptionally well-formatted
entry for a new user. Finally, AlpAsli bilan tasodifan uchrashgan qiz uploaded a
file
with fair-use rationale a day after registering, a procedure that seasoned editors are familiar with. Thus, it is entirely possible that Lazizbek Baxtiyorov is behind this bad-faith trolling. Any help on the matter will be much appreciated.

Reason(s): All three accounts are already globally locked for the same behavior; cross-wiki posting of homophobic slurs. After an account lock, a new account is created and the abuse continues. New account names follow a similar pattern of multiple words creating a nonsensical phrase. The abuse involves posting the same homophobic slur, often on the new user's own page and also on other pages.
I believe all three are the same individual and this is global lock evasion by a long-term abuser. I requested a local Checkuser

on May 16. I also posted notices on both en.wn CU's the same day.

The account "Trade me away im the sore" is the most recent and popped up after my CU request at en.WN, so it was not included in the original request.

). Based on the vandalism pattern and the data already gotten through LWCU, it's definitely the same user, so this is

. Other than that, I'm noting that I have blocked some of the IP ranges they have used over the past couple of weeks and locked multiple of their accounts, but I don't think there is much else to do, as long as another steward doesn't think otherwise?

If you believe they are any LTA and a global xwiki abuser, you can request their lock from
SRG
without having to go through this checkuser, and loginwiki checkusering can be made for them naturally. Therefore, it may be a more valid and appropriate method. --
