Internet2 is collaborating with UpGuard on service evaluation of their vendor risk management and associated services.

UpGuard helps businesses manage cybersecurity risk. UpGuard's integrated risk platform combines third party security ratings, security assessment questionnaires, and threat intelligence capabilities to give businesses a full and comprehensive view of their risk surface.

Why a NET+ Service Evaluation:

NET+ initiated a NET+ RFP to identify a third-party risk management service based on request of the community as part of campuses maturing their third-party and vendor risk management efforts. The NET+ TRPM was awarded to UpGuard in May 2025.  

The service evaluation process will involve a comprehensive review of the UpGuard integrated risk platform to enable campuses to scale their management of vendors and third-parties across campuses.
