We have fully removed the feature from the codebase. It was built to last just a short time as an experiment. If you want to see what Baby Globe gets up to next, have a look at
what the Wikipedia Apps team is planning
to continue the celebrations with the 25-day Wikipedia App Reading Challenge widget! Join the challenge from May 1 to May 31, 2026. Baby Globe will be available as a reading companion on your Android or iOS device homescreen. Read one article a day for 25 days on the Wikipedia app to unlock a special prize.
