Why isn't this wiki closed?
This wiki was supposed to close in November 2009, over a month ago, by consensus. The majority of the people voting (45) supported the closure, while only 8 opposed it. Why is it still open to editing? Is it possible for someone to just eradicate this wiki and give Na'vi the content to host it on his own server/Wikia/whatever? --Jonas Rand

Are "the devs" that incompetent that they must wait more than 38 days to close a wiki that never was successful in the first place, and has no chance of being so? Or is it that nobody on Simple Wikipedia/WQ has even bothered to notify them of the closure? --Jonas Rand

There is a backlog on most WMF "shell" jobs because the developers are generally dealing with much more important issues such as keeping the servers running. Grow up, Jonas.

Read what people say before complaining. That we have notified the devs and filed a Bugzilla request is clearly mentioned in the previous thread. And you are free to ask the devs whether they are incompetent.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki
I've recently heard about a Japanese dying from cancer many many years after been exposed to both WW2 nukes. I've myself suffered on Wikiquote both from French and now Simple closure.
Each time the
bombers
(I mean people urging for those destructions) were mostly outsiders and, each time, they were naming
democracy
that kind
of action... very kind indeed.

Uhh... what? This project was closed by consensus on meta. 45 users supported its closure and only 9 opposed. Some of the people who supported its closure are also current or former admins of this wiki. How would this relate to WW2 or Japan?
